The birth of a child should be celebrated, because it is a miracle that marks the beginning of a whole new chapter. As a father of three children, I know exactly how deep this joy goes and how special it is to welcome a little person. This moment deserves to be celebrated - in a way that makes your love and amazement at the new life tangible. I am happy to accompany you as a celebrant.

A child welcome party is not a free baptism, even though the terms are often used interchangeably. What is the difference?
A baptism welcomes people into a religious community. This does not happen at a child welcome party - rather, it is a celebration with and for your child, at which they are warmly welcomed into this world. Your values and stories as a family take center stage and make the welcome party a reflection of your bond. We create a celebration that is dedicated to your child and reflects the love and uniqueness of your family. On request, we can also include the godparents for your child, who will become part of your child's life as special companions. Conversion to a religious community can still take place at a later date if desired. Parents are happy to let their children have a say in this matter when they have reached the appropriate age.
